  Foley Room è un album che colpisce immediatamente per la purezza e la ricchezza dei suoni, la sperimentazione portata all’estremo, il tentativo di portare ordine nel caos e di fondere insieme musica e suoni. E’ un album, imprevedibile.

  Al primo ascolto, ad un’ascoltatore non abituale del genere, può non colpire molto….i pezzi sembrano eseguiti in un turbine elettronico di no-sense random ma, ed il bello è proprio questo, dopo un terzo quarto ascolto ecco che incomincia a rendere molto di piu`…

  Un disco infinito (nello scoprire i frammenti che lo costruiscono), potente e sofisticato ma allo stesso tempo assolutamente godibile.

  Questo disco è una sintesi di tutto quello che si respira nella decadenza elettronica di inizio secolo, un’esperienza da ascoltare con pazienza, una notte nebbiosa in cui è sconsigliato uscire fuori di casa.

  Questo lavoro si pone come una via di mezzo tra le sonorità a cui comunque Amon Tobin ci ha abituati e quelle della colonna sonora ideale di un Thriller caratterizzato da lunghi momenti di suspance alternati ad improvvisi cambi di scena, stato d’animo e “ritmo”.
