  E’ diventa bello vedere i raggi del sole svanire, mentre il pomeriggio diventa sera, dopo l’ennesimo repeat di queste dieci canzoni. E’ tenero vederli scivolare dalle pareti verso il soffitto, con lentezza precisa e miracolosa, per lasciarci la voglia di riprendere da capo ed aspettare la notte e poi il giorno.
  Capolavoro.

  Forse, l’unico difetto di questo album è il fatto che sembra – rispetto ai suoi predecessori – più una collezione di bellissime canzoni che non un’unica opera: non di certo da considerarsi come un grave difetto, casomai una conferma del proposito innovatore del gruppo.

  La sua stessa voce diventa così strumento che la porta lontano dal limbo; i suoi sussurri, fremiti, sussulti dell’animo e del corpo e persino l’incedere ansimante del suo respiro (”The Dress”) riescono ora ad evocare la passione più vera, per ciò che non si ha più, per chi è andato via con una valigia in mano, senza salutare.

  I BR ci abbracciano con un disco sentito e introspettivo, ma nel contempo esplosivamente ipnotico nonostante gli spazi.

  Il disco è solo un buon disco, di quelli che non fanno trepidare, che non sconquassano ma confermano la statura (alta) di una band.
