  Un disco che ti spiazza, ti prende come una dolce ossessione, ti cattura senza fallo nelle sue spire ipnotiche.

  Non importa se già passate o li da venire, il senso di svagatezza e la gioia di vivere che erompe da ogni poro di questo album ci fa vedere tutto come attraverso una pellicola dorata con la quale contemplare ciò che ci circonda, con una vecchia e gracchiante cassetta di ‘Pet Sounds‘ nel mangianastri della macchina e una ragazza nel sedile di fianco.

  Sebbene risulti spesso disarmante nella sua totale rigidità, Person Pitch convince per spontaneità e buon gusto. Ascolto non proprio facile, ma appagante.

  In questo disco non c’è una macchia, non c’è un ombra, e ciò è tanto una forza quanto un punto debole: se cercate eterogeneità e schizofrenia, bussate ad altre porte; se invece siete disposti a lasciarvi investire dal treno di questo hippie stranamente simpatico fatevi avanti, le porte della comune sono sempre aperte.

  Si vagheggiano delle Ronettes al maschile (Bros) e dei Beach Boys estatici (Take Pills e I’m Not). si dissacra il pop, riducendolo in poltiglia dada (Good Girl / Carrots) oppure lo si disegna come dei shoegazer in apnea (Ponytail).

  Person Pitch è ottimo se vi serve un commento musicale per un bagno caldo, mentre appare onestamente discreto se cercate un bel disco.
